First look at Eddie Redmayne as a trans woman
The first picture has been released of Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne as trans woman Lili Ebe.
Redmayne is to play Lili Ebe, one of the first people to undergo sex reassignment surgery, in The Danish Girl. It is based on a novel by David Ebershoff and tells the story of Ebe, an artist who transitioned in the 1930s and died aged 48, after a failed uterus transplant.
Eddie Redmayne won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking on Sunday.
