Scrubs stars offer to make pizza for Indiana same-sex weddings
Scrubs stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison have offered to provide pizza for same-sex weddings in Indiana – after a pizza shop declared it would not.
Earlier this week, the family who run Memories Pizza in Walkerton, Indiana pledged to deny service to same-sex weddings after Governor Mike Pence signed into law the controversial ‘Religious Freedom Restoration Act’, which gives people the right to discriminate against gay people on the grounds of religion.
Amid controversy surrounding the issue, the two actors – who played best friends JD and Turk on the medical sitcom – made an offer to gay couples in the state.
Braff tweeted: “If you really and truly want pizza for your gay wedding in Indiana… We will make it for you.”

However, he might struggle to find someone to take him up on his offer.
Out comedian Rosie O’Donnell joked earlier: “The pizza lady was saying that gays were going to cater their wedding with pizza.
“Not even lesbians would do that. We might have a potluck, we have bring your own chilli… but that’s only if financial situations are tough.”
