Heather Peace and wife Ellie welcome their first daughter

Singer Heather Peace and her wife Ellie have announced that they have brought home their first baby daughter.
Confirming the news on Twitter, she wrote: “Brighton gig. Thank you. So thrilled to share the news with you.”

Posting the first picture of their daughter Anne Mary Peace, Heather wrote on Twitter: “Ellie gave birth to our daughter at 1.46pm. She’s perfect and we feel so thankful and blessed. Much love H xxx.”

Ellie also tweeted a picture, and the message: “Safe and sound at home. Anne Mary Peace. Thanks for all the kind tweets. We’re a happy bunch. Tired but so very happy.”
She said: “I knew there could be no better place in Europe to create a Rainbow Crossing than in my home town of Brighton.
“We Can Change is my big gay anthem. It’s an empowering tribute to equality and I wanted the crossing to be a beautiful symbol to represent that during LGBT Pride month.
“It’s a gift from me to anyone that embraces diversity.”
The temporary crossing has since been removed – but the council is said to be discussing proposals to bring it back as a permanent fixture.
