Get a tissue ready for this beautiful Hallmark ad with a trans man and his mother
This Hallmark ad features Alex, a trans man, talking about how his mother accepted him no matter what.
The ad is released as part of the #PutYourHeartToPaper campaign, and features Alex talking about his mother, without realising she is actually watching from another room.
He says: “I’ve never felt home in my body, and even tough I was born a girl, I’ve always felt like I was born a boy. I was afraid to tell her because I thought love would have conditions. The unconditional love that she’s shown has made me a better person.”
After getting teary in describing her without using the word “love”, Alex is told that mum Pam is in the next room, he simply hugs her.
At the end, as Pam says “you don’t have to thank me for anything”, you might need a tissue.
