Jason Manford gave this cheeky response to Ireland’s ‘no’ to gay marriage campaign
Comedian Jason Manford has sent a brilliant message to the campaign against marriage equality in Ireland.
The Republic of Ireland is due to vote in a referendum on introducing same-sex marriage on 22 May.
The star spotted a poster online promoting the ‘no’ campaign which read: “Children deserve a mother and a father… Vote no.”
Responding, Manford wrote on Twitter: “The person who made this poster had a mother &father & look how much of an ignorant dick they turned into! #voteyes.”
He also used the hashtag #ChildrenDeserveLove and urged followers to vote yes in the referendum.
