Republican Presidential candidate insists ‘other groups’ want to get married next
A Republican Presidential candidate who compared homosexuality to paedophilia has claimed that “other groups” will soon demand the right to marry.
Dr Ben Carson, who has claimed prisons ‘prove’ that you can choose you can be gay, announced this week that he would run for President.
The Fox News pundit claimed in an interview that “other groups” will want to be married – though he shied away from his usual comparisons to bestiality and paedophilia.
Speaking to CNBC, he said: “If you change the definition of marriage for one group, what do you say to the next group?
“Do you say, ‘Well, we changed it for this group, but that’s it, we’re not changing it for anybody else.’ Does that seem fair?”
When pushed to actually name the other ‘groups’, he said: “There are more groups, I guarantee it. Everybody knows there are more groups. Other variations on traditional marriage.
“Why would you stop with one group being able to change it, and then say to the next group you can’t change it?”
Dr Carson told listed hate group NOM last June that same-sex marriage is a “plot” conceived by the New World Order to impose communism.
He has also joked about poisoning gay wedding cakes.
