Gay Big Brother housemate Aaron Frew ejected over ‘inappropriate behaviour’
A gay housemate has been ejected from reality show Big Brother – for unspecified “inappropriate behaviour”.
Aaron Frew, who entered the house when the show launched earlier this month, became the third housemate to leave the house when he was ejected today.
It is not yet known what the 24-year-old model did to be removed from the house – but it is expected the incident will be featured on the Channel 5 show this evening.
However, a spokesman for Channel 5 confirmed he had been removed for “inappropriate behaviour”.
Frew did not reference the controversy in his first tweet since leaving the show.
He wrote: “@bbuk THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING OPPORTUNITY YOU HAVE GIVEN ME! WILL NEVER FORGET IT!”.
His eviction means there are currently no openly gay housemates on this year’s show – but four more are set to join in a twist this week.
RuPaul’s Drag Race Michelle Visage recently rallied against her former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Katie Hopkins.
Speaking to RuPaul on the pair’s What’s the Tee? Podcast, she said: “I hate everything Hopkins stands for, I think it’s disgusting, but I went in there with a clean slate.
“The thing with Katie Hopkins and me is very simple. Humans can’t understand that I can separate who somebody is or what they do for a job.”
Of her comments about immigrants, she continued: “But she has crossed a line for me, talking about the immigrants, saying that they should be killed. Human lives are human lives.
“Their lives are horrible in some of these countries, I would do the same thing and try to break free for a better life.
“For her to be there calling them all cockroaches and saying they should all be killed is disgusting and I can’t support it.”
