London Bridge gets a rainbow make over
A rainbow road has appeared on London Bridge – to cheer people up on a gloomy Monday.
The rainbow was created as part of Spark Your City, an initiative to transform landmarks and spice up the everyday.
London Bridge’s rainbow was helped along by BBC Radio 1 DJ Gemma Cairney.
It’s been compared to the rainbow road from video game Mario Cart, with one twitter user saying she: “Had to resist the urge to drop banana skins and throw shells at people”.
