WATCH: These gay men talk about being married to women
The BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire show has produced a feature on gay me who are married to women.
Some of the men featured in the video, remained married to their wives after they came out as gay.
Many of the members of ‘Gay Married Men’, a support group for gay men married to women, spoke to Victoria Derbyshire during the segment about staying anonymous, or staying married to their female partners to protect their children.
They also recall being told that they would be “a real man”, if they were to “find the right woman”, and thinking that gay men only come from London.
