Photos: Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi among those celebrating NYC Pride

New York City Pride took place today with some very distinguished guests.
Veteran British actors Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Derek Jacobi were among those celebrating – and both had the roles of Grand Marshal.
They were in town to promote their sitcom Vicious, in which they play an older gay couple.
A video surfaced shortly after the Supreme Court judgement of Sir Derek proposing to Sir Ian – although perhaps not entirely seriously.
New York is the home of the Stonewall Inn – the iconic bar the saw the Stonewall Riots in 1967 kick off the LGBT rights movement. It was recently granted landmark status.
