Watch: This HIV-positive man asked strangers to touch him – the result is amazing
This man took to the streets of Helsinki, in order to attempt to break down the stigma of living with HIV, and the results may warm your heart.
Janne conducted his experiment during Helsinki Pride, and the video of what happened has since gone viral.
He stood with his eyes closed next to a sign reading: “I am HIV-positive – Touch me.”
The video shows him standing there, in an attempt to find out whether anyone would come up and make physical contact.
After a slow start, with some approaching hesitantly, Janne is left in tears by the reaction from strangers.
