Watch: This pastor wants to use guns to battle same-sex marriage

A US pastor appears to have suggested that Christians should use guns to oppose same-sex marriage.

Pastor Joshua Feuerstein, who describes himself as a “former television and radio evangelist” appeared in a Facebook video reacting to the US Supreme Court’s recent ruling in favour of same-sex marriage.

The Supreme Court recently ruled that all couples, same-sex or opposite-sex, have a constitutional right to marry.

Reacting, Feuerstein said: “I remember telling you guys a long time ago that this was not about gay marriage and equality!….It’s about re-constitutionalising a term so that now it opens up the door for the liberals to come after Christianity!”

Going on, he says, whilst holding up a gun: “They’re coming after our First Amendment constitutional rights! Well, check this out, this is one pastor that will not bow. Why? Because my First Amendment right is guaranteed by my Second Amendment right.

“Think about that, ladies and gentlemen. It’s time that we finally take a stand and say no more. We’re not backing up any further. We’re not going to allow a tyrannical government to come in and strip away our rights as Christians and try to demonize us so that they can make the Bible bigoted.”
