Hulk Hogan exposed as homophobe in latest scandal
After a pretty awful week for the disgraced WWE wrestler – who has been accused of racism after the release of a sex tape – he has now been accused of homophobia.
According to Radar Online – the website that first broke the story – new audio clips from the tape also reveals disparaging comments about the LGBT community.
Hulk – born Terry Bollea – made the comments when discussing his VH1 reality show, Hogan Knows Best.
“VH1 wanted me to do a big thing and go back to the house I grew up in,” Hulk says, discussing the Season Four finale of his show.
“So we knock on the door,” he continues, “and a big fag lives there now!”
“This half-gay was enamoured with Linda [his ex-wife].”
The latest revelations surrounding the shamed star come after it was revealed the 61 year-old had made a series of racist comments when discussing his daughter’s sex life on the X-rated tape.
“I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!
“I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n*gger.”
The ex-wrestler has since an apologised for making the racist comments, but has yet to speak out about the accusations of homophobia.
“It’s tough because a lot of my friends in normal life, a lot of my friends in the entertainment business, and a lot of my friends in the wrestling business are gay,” he said in 2012.
“If it was true and I was gay, I’d embrace it, and I’d tell you guys about it, and I’d celebrate it.”
He later sued Linda for defamation over those claims, but the case was ultimately dismissed.
