Miley Cyrus: I feel like a 15-year-old boy in a girl’s body
Singer Miley Cyrus has said she feels “like a 15-year-old boy” trapped in a girl’s body.
The Wrecking Ball made the comments to Marie Claire, while discussing her body.
She said: “I feel like a 15-year-old boy trapped in the body of a 22-year-old girl.”
The former Disney star added: “I don’t really stress too much about being out there. There’s nothing left to catch me doing.
“You want to hack my e-mail so you can find my nude pictures? I’ll just fucking put them up.”
She previously spoke out about her gender identity and sexuality, saying: “I’m just even. It has nothing to do with any parts of me or how I dress or how I look. It’s literally just how I feel.”
“I’m not hiding my sexuality. For me, I don’t want to label myself as anything.
“We love putting people in categories, but what I like sexually isn’t going to label me as a person.”
The singer added that she wants to be judged based on herself, not her dating life.
She said: “It has a lot to do with being a feminist, but I’m finally O.K. with being alone. I think that’s something we have to talk about more: that you can be alone.
“There are times in my life where I’ve had boyfriends or girlfriends. And there are times where I just love being with myself and don’t want to give part of myself away to someone else.
“I think that’s a new freedom for women, especially. I don’t know that my mother would have been able to be 22 and secure in being alone. But my future doesn’t rely on having a partner.”
