Hillary Clinton practices dance moves on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (VIDEO)
Mrs Clinton bust out some serious dance moves in a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The Presidential hopeful danced alongside a professional dancer and host Ellen DeGeneres to hit US song “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”
The song’s music video features the “whip and Nae Nae” dance move – which the 67-year-old gamely participated in.
Her husband, Bill Clinton, later complimented his wife’s moves on Twitter, saying that while Hillary looked good doing the whip part of the dance, she “needs work” with her Nae Nae.
The former First Lady also said could get behind Kanye West’s run for the White House in 2020 – unless she’s the one already sitting in the Oval Office.
“I heard him make the announcement and he said he wanted to run in 2020,” Clinton said. “I would only ask him, if I’m running for reelection, to wait.”
“But,” the Democratic hopeful added, “otherwise a lot of people want to run for president these days.
When DeGeneres – who recently discussed her own love for dancing – asked what Charlotte calls her grandmother, Clinton told the television host that “she doesn’t call me anything yet because she doesn’t have that many words yet.”
But when pressed on what moniker she preferred, the former secretary of state said she’d leave it to Charlotte.
“You know, I’m fine with ‘Grandma,'” Clinton said. “I’m fine with ‘Madame President.’ I mean whatever strikes her fancy.”
She also later took to the stage with fellow guests Amy Schumer, singer Pink and a young fan.
In a video launching her Presidential campaign back in April, the Democratic hopeful featured a range of Americans discussing their plans for the future, including Jared Milrad and his partner Nathan Johnson – who finally married recently.
The former Secretary of State announced her support for equal marriage back in 2013 – and has consistently shown her support for LGBT issues.
She has already been endorsed last month by pro-LGBT group Equality California – more than a year before the polls open in November 2016.
