Kim Davis Appreciation Society is sending hate mail to PinkNews
PinkNews is receiving hate mail from activists describing themselves as the ‘Kim Davis Appreciation Society’.
Davis, the clerk for Rowan County, Kentucky, was briefly jailed earlier this year after she defied court orders to stop blocking same-sex marriage.
She has since become a darling of religious evangelicals, appearing with Republican Presidential wannabe Mike Huckabee and even meeting the Pope.
However, fans of Kim Davis are clearly unimpressed with the PinkNews coverage of her escapades.
One letter sent to PinkNews today from the self proclaimed ‘Kim Davis Appreciation Society’ that gays risk the punishment of eternal fire.
Referencing the Biblical destruction of two cities, it quotes: “As Sodom and Gomorrah, and the neighbouring cities, in like manner, having given themselves to fornication, and going after other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.

Davis has recently taken time out from her full-time career of offending humanity to feud with the Catholic church.
The Vatican press office has repeatedly sought to play down the meeting between Davis and the Pope – insisting that she only had a “brief” meeting with the Pontiff alongside a dozen others.
However, the lawyer representing Kim Davis have refused to back down – insisting that the Vatican’s version of events is “false”.
Lawyer Mat Staver claimed: “Reuters wrongly reported that ‘Davis had been in a line of people the Pope had met at the Vatican embassy’.
“That statement by Reueters [sic] citing a ‘senior Vatican official, who delined [sic] to be named,’ is false.
“There was no line of people before, near, or around Kim Davis. Had Kim Davis been in a line of people or been seen by anyone outside of Vatican personnel, we would not have been able to keep her visit secret.
“Kim’s face is easily recognizable. When we walk through airports as large as LaGuardia, Philadelpia [sic], and Reagan, people recognize her and give her encouragement.”
