Ellen DeGeneres has added to the crushing weight of parodies of Adeleās new single ā and it might be one of the best.
The TV host launched into the skit on her show, after the Rolling in the Deep singerās comeback single Hello was launched.
She told her audience: āāAdele and I are good friends and a lot of people donāt realize her new song is based on a conversation that we hadā¦ take a look!ā
The singleās video ā which has racked up 150 million views on YouTube in just a week ā sees Adele calling a former lover to reminisce about old times.
Ellenās video sees the other side of the call ā with Adele calling up the host instead of an ex-boyfriend.
It doesnāt go well, however ā Ellen struggles with a bad connection, and misses what Adeleās saying eating crisps.
Adeleās new album 25 is out on November 20.
The popular TV host recently candidly discussed the fear she felt before opening up about her sexuality.
āI didnāt think I was going to come out, periodā¦ I didnāt think Iād be coming out on a show, ever.
āAnd my fear was that no, no they wouldnāt, and then it made me feel ashamed that I was hiding something.
āIt made me feel ashamed that I couldnāt feel honest and really be who I am, and I just didnāt want to pretend to be somebody else anymore so that people would like me.ā
