Boxing champion Tyson Fury claims ‘homosexuality will bring about the end of times’
Former champ Tyson Fury made the outrageous claims over the weekend.
WBO Heavyweight title contender Tyson Fury has compared homosexuality to paedophilia in a bizarre interview with the Mail on Sunday.
Tyson Fury also went on to claim that homosexuality is one of the three things that will lead to the apocalypse.
“There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the devil comes home,” he told the Mail on Sunday, “one of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other one’s paedophile.
“Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?
“When I say paedophiles can be made legal, that sounds like crazy talk doesn’t it?
“But back in the 50s and early 60s, for them first two to be made legal would have been looked on as a crazy man again.”
This is only the latest bizarre outburst from the British boxer, who is due to challenge Wladimir Klitschko for the WBO heavyweight title at the end of the month.
Previously at a pre-fight press conference Fury arrived dressed as Batman.
Wladimir Klitschko has told the Telegraph that he believes the Tyson Fury “…definitely has some screws loose in his mind,” but that he ultimately respects him as a boxer.
This is not the first time Tyson Fury has proclaimed his homophobic views, in 2013 he was investigated for homophobic tweeting after calling Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko ‘100% homosexual’ and ‘homosexual’ and was subsequently fined £3,000 by the British Boxing Board of Control.
Fellow British boxer David Hayes later said that Tyson Fury went ‘too far’ with his anti-gay tweets.
