Watch: Joseph Gordon-Levitt drags up for flawless Janet Jackson tribute
Actor and semi-regular drag artist Joseph Gordon-Levitt became Janet Jackson for a lip sync battle – and knocked one of her classic tracks out of the park.
The 500 Days of Summer actor is no stranger to embracing his feminine side – dressing up in the past for Saturday Night Live, and just last month getting a camp music video crash course from Todrick Hall.
This week, he put his dance moves to work on Spike series Lip Sync Battle – in tribute to the legendary Janet Jackson.
The Dark Knight Rises star perfectly took on Jackson’s ‘Rhythm Nation’ persona, appearing in a black military-inspired outfit complete with ponytail and make-up.
He continued to knock a dance routine for the song out the park, recreating Janet’s original moves with the help from a troupe of backing dancers.
Opponent Anthony Mackie performed MC Hammer’s ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’ – but was left speechless by Gordon-Levitt’s flawless routine.
