ISIS fighter jokes about throwing gays off buildings in online Q&A
A Dutch-born Islamic State fighter has hosted an online Q&A ā in which he joked about executing gay people.
The New York Times picked up that Israfil Yilmaz ā who quit the Royal Netherlands Army in 2013 in order to fight for IS ā took a number of questions on Tumblr.
Fielding questions on his blog, which has since been suspended, he said of gay people: āDo the whole world a favor and throw them off the highest building you can find :-)ā.
He also revealed that the group had banned the use of iPhones and Apple-owned products ā and explained that using Tumblr is only āharamā (forbidden) if you use it for āthe wrong reasonsā.
The fighter also bragged about the groupās atrocities in Paris, citing Franceās complicities in wars.
He wrote: āThe blood of a Muslim is not cheap, and whoever takes from the blood of a Muslim for no reason should know that one day a Muslim will take revenge for the blood of that same Muslim.
āJust because they carpet bomb innocent Muslims from high in the skies and use proxies on the ground for the dirty work itās less evil right?ā
The group has executed hundreds of men for homosexuality as it expands beyond its strongholds.
The United Nations Security Council recently discussed the groupās tactics in persecuting LGBT people, as well as spreading terror and committing other atrocities.
