A Dutch-born Islamic State fighter has hosted an online Q&A ā€“ in which he joked about executing gay people.

The New York Times picked up that Israfil Yilmaz ā€“ who quit the Royal Netherlands Army in 2013 in order to fight for IS ā€“ took a number of questions on Tumblr.

Fielding questions on his blog, which has since been suspended, he said of gay people: ā€œDo the whole world a favor and throw them off the highest building you can find :-)ā€.

He also revealed that the group had banned the use of iPhones and Apple-owned products ā€“ and explained that using Tumblr is only ā€˜haramā€™ (forbidden) if you use it for ā€œthe wrong reasonsā€.

The fighter also bragged about the groupā€™s atrocities in Paris, citing Franceā€™s complicities in wars.

He wrote: ā€œThe blood of a Muslim is not cheap, and whoever takes from the blood of a Muslim for no reason should know that one day a Muslim will take revenge for the blood of that same Muslim.

ā€œJust because they carpet bomb innocent Muslims from high in the skies and use proxies on the ground for the dirty work itā€™s less evil right?ā€

The group has executed hundreds of men for homosexuality as it expands beyond its strongholds.
