Here is what the new heavyweight boxing champion thinks about LGBT people
Tyson Fury was crowned the new WBA, IBF & WBO heavyweight champion after defeating Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday.
He also believes that gay people will bring about the apocalypse.
āThere are only three things that need to be accomplished before the devil comes home,ā he told the Mail on Sunday last month.
āOne of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other oneās paedophile.ā
He then went on to speculate on whether paedophilia will be legalised.
āWho would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?
āWhen I say paedophiles can be made legal, that sounds like crazy talk doesnāt it?
āBut back in the 50s and early 60s, for them first two to be made legal would have been looked on as a crazy man again.ā
Back in 2013 he was fined by Ā£3000 by the British Boxing Board of Control for calling Lennox Lewis ā100% homosexualā in a twitter spat.
Unrelated to his past homophobic outbursts, he also arrived at a press conference dressed as Batman for no apparent reason.
Wladimir Klitschko, who was defeated by Fury this weekend, has told the Telegraph that he believes the Tyson Fury āā¦definitely has some screws loose in his mind,ā but that he ultimately respects him as a boxer.
Shadow Cabinet minister Chris Bryant has blasted the new champion, saying Furyās āfoul homophobiaā leads to young gay suicides.
