Charlie Sheen face lawsuit from ex after revealing he is living with HIV
Charlie Sheen is facing a lawsuit from his ex-fiancée, after revealing he is living with HIV.
The former Two and a Half Men star opened up about his HIV status last month, in what he said was a bid to end a cycle of blackmail, extortion and tabloid rumours.
The actor claimed he had paid out millions to “blackmailers” to ensure the news remained secret, but claims he did not put anyone at risk.
However, his ex-fiancée Scottine Ross (Brett Rossi) has this week filed a lawsuit against the star, which claims she was “forced” to sign an “illegal and unenforceable” non-disclosure agreement.
While speaking about his status, Sheen had said that he told all his lovers about his HIV status – but Rossi, an adult film actor, claims the pair had sex at least five times before he disclosed his status.
The suit claims: “If Sheen had disclosed to Plaintiff that he was HIV positive when they met for the very first time, Plaintiff would never have engaged in sex with him, and the resulting relationship between the two would never have occurred,” according to the suit.
It also accuses Sheen of going back on a former settlement with the porn star.
Her attorney David M Ring said: “The lawsuit filed by Ms Ross speaks for itself.
“Mr Sheen made it clear on The Today Show that he had no intention of honoring the agreement reached, and sure enough, he didn’t.
“Ms Ross looks forward to her day in court, and to taking Mr Sheen’s deposition.”
A statement from Sheen’s lawyers says: “Charlie Sheen intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit filed by Scottine Ross.
“We are confident that Mr. Sheen will prevail in this action and will prevail on his claims for affirmative relief against her.
The media has published a number of sleazy stories about Sheen following his revelations – with one website claiming to have obtained a sex tape showing him “smoking a crack pipe before engaging gay oral sex”
Other gossip sites claim that the actor had sought out “transgender prostitutes”.
