A wrestler won a victory over an opponentā¦ using the power of his penis.
The surreal incident occurred during a fight between Joey Ryan and Danshoku Dino in Osaka, Japan ā which shows pro wrestling in all its ārealisticā glory.
A clip of the incident sees the pair swinging at eachother, before Dino grabs Ryanās crotch ā which is an unorthodox move by most playbooks.
Things only get weirder from there ā as Ryan turns the tables by apparently using penis power to cripple his opponent.
Ryan told Vice Sports: āI have to give credit where credit is dueā¦ Danshoku Dino, who I was wrestling in the match, he plays a very unorthodox character, very homoerotic to say the least.
āPart of his offense is to inappropriately touch and grab opponents for the thrill of it, or maybe to throw them off their game a bit.
āHe speaks very little English, but wrestlers can usually speak wrestling, so we understand something.
āSo weāre going over the match and he says āMaybe I grab, maybe you no sell, because American cāk so big and so strongā.
āSo it was kind of his idea. We both play sexual characters so it fit with us.ā
He added: āWe both employ a lot of comedy in our wrestling, we try to keep wrestling fun and light-hearted as much as possible.
āThat was maybe the most ridiculous part of the match, but it wasnāt the only ridiculous part of the match.
āThere were a lot of interactions that were just as over the top.ā
Wrestling boss Stephanie McMahon recently hinted that more openly gay wrestler characters could appear in WWE in the future.
She said:āIt could very well pop up in WWE because we are all about whatās relevant, and whatās pop culture, and what people want to see. So if there is an opportunity, we might just take it.ā
