āOn November 28, while in New Orleans, Michael (Bo) was tragically shot in the chest while having an argument with a friend,ā the page reads.
āHe was rushed to University Medical Centre, where he remains and is receiving critical medical care.
āHe suffered an injury to the spinal cord. Heās paralysed from the waist down.ā
Deanās friends say that this is only the start of his journey to recovery, but that he does not have the money to cover any further treatment.
āHe has no insurance. No source of income, no way to pay the mounting medical bills and other related expenses (medicines, wheelchair, treatments, rehabilitation etc etc).
āThis unfortunate incident happened right after we lost our home and was destroyed by a fire,ā they add.
āWeāve lost pretty much everything and had to start from scratch.ā
The actor is well known in the gay adult entertainment industry.
