Did Steve Grand just unveil his new boyfriend in a Christmas song?
Out gay singer Steve Grand may or may not have revealed his new beau in a stunning new Christmas cover.
Grand, on unveiling his cover of the timeless Mariah classic ‘All I Want For Christmas’, said he was never keen on doing a Christmas song.
But after requests from his fans, Grand said he decided to release the cover.
He wrote on Facebook: “I wasn’t ever too keen on the idea of doing a Holiday song, but a lot of you have requested that I do one (and I didn’t want to be a big ole’ Grinch ;)), so here is my little gift to you, for all your love and support through these last 2.5 years.”
Grand downplayed the pairing though, insisting that it was only for the music video.
He said he had met actor Trevor LaPaglia a couple of times before they shot the video together.
After being asked to the Marine Corps Ball, singer Steve Grand last month looked like he had an amazing time with his date.
US Marine Tanner White earlier this year asked ‘All American Boy’ Steve Grand to the 2015 Marine Corps Ball in a YouTube video.
White said: “This video is for the All-American boy, Steve Grand. Steve, you are an amazing singer. I’ve seen some of your blog videos and they were awesome.
“I would like for you to go with me to the 2015 Marine Corps ball in Wilmington, North Carolina as my date. Hopefully you say yes. If not, it was worth a shot.”
Grand responded with his own video, saying he would be “honoured” to attend the ball.
