Channing Tatum has delivered a lip-synced rendition of Let It Go, in one of the weirdest scenes to grace TV ever.

The star appears this week in Lip Sync Battle ā€“ which is essentially everyoneā€™s favourite bit of RuPaulā€™s Drag Race stretched out into an entire reality show.

The Magic Mike actor has already shown off his moves for a fantastic BeyoncĆ© tribute ā€“ but now heā€™s taking on a second, animated diva.

Tatum took on the guise of Frozenā€™s Elsa for the Let It Go tribute, putting on a blonde wig and iconic blue ice dress to belt out the modern Disney classic.

As far as TV goes, watching Idina Menzelā€™s voice come out of a burly film star is probably one of the best things to happen so far this year.

Tatum follows in the footsteps of fellow actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who wowed everyone recently in his performance as Janet Jackson.

500 Days of Summer actor Godon-Levitt took on Jacksonā€™s ā€˜Rhythm Nationā€™ persona, appearing in a black military-inspired outfit complete with ponytail and make-up, and knocking the routine out of the park.

Other teasers from the trailer see Christina Aguilera reprising her classic ā€˜Lady Marmaladeā€™ performance with Hayden Panettiere, plus Eva Longoria and Big Bang Theoryā€™s Kaley Kuoco lip syncing for survival.

Lip Sync Battle season 2 dĆ©buts in the US on Thursday, January 7 on Spike.
