Emma Watson and Matthew Lewis also shared their grief following the actor’s death.
Alan Rickman, who played Snape in the famous Harry Potter franchise, passed away earlier today after a battle with cancer.
Fellow stars of the film have since paid tribute to the actor online, with Harry Potter J.K. Rowling expressing her devastation on Twitter.
Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe later described Rickman as “one of the loyalest and supportive” people he has ever met.
Emma Watson was the next to share her sadness about the “special” actor’s passing.
Matthew Lewis told how Rickman was his inspiration and had always been there to give him the “greatest advice”.
The Weasley twins – played by James and Oliver Phelps – shared their equal sense of loss.
And finally, the man himself – Rickman bids farewell to Snape, as well as the cast mate who had come to love him.
