Modern Family star reminds everyone that this Vine star made vile anti-gay comments
Modern Family star Ariel Winter has taken to task an internet sensation who has millions of followers.
Nash Grier came under fire for the April video last year. The video – which has since been deleted – starts with a clip from an HIV awareness campaign. The clip says: “Get tested for HIV. It’s not a gay thing.” The video then cuts to Grier, who shouts: “Yes it is! FAG!”
Winter who stars as Alex in Modern Family, took advantage of the hashtag #FavNashVid, to bring to light comments he previously made about gay people.
Grier has 12.4 million Vine followers, 5.25 million Twitter followers and 4.6 million YouTube followers.
Winter wrote: “#FavNashVid that one time when he was just super homophobic and ignorant? #whydoyouhavefans.”
In another tweet, she included an image of text, explaining her reasons for taking aim at Grier.
When the Vine star tweeted to ask her to DM him, she simply said: “I’m good.”
