Christian Bale could not stop kissing men at Critics’ Choice Awards (VIDEO)
Christian Bale went on a kissing spree after picking up a host of gongs for new movie The Big Short.
Christian Bale got up close and personal with a number of his male colleagues at the Critics’ Choice Awards over the weekend.
As the star picked up the Best Actor in a Comedy for The Big Short, he celebrated by going on what can only be called a kissing rampage.
He started by locking lips with his wife of 15 years, Sibi Blazic, before turning to kiss the film’s director Adam McKay.
The Dark Knight star the rose from the table and headed straight for screenwriter Charles Randolph.
“That was just a lovely make-out session with my wife and with Adam and with Charles,” Bale during his acceptance speech.
“We all really got to know each other very well on this film.”
However, the actor’s public displays of affection did not stop there.
When The Big Short won the award for Best Comedy film, Bale and McKay kissed each other yet again, as McKay held Bale’s face in his hands.
The Hollywood star is not the first straight actor to lock lips with a male cast member.
Last year, two of Brazil’s biggest actors kissing live on TV at the country’s annual GQ Awards.
Bruno Gagliasso and João Vicente de Castro said they wanted to use the awards as an opportunity to challenge the nation’s views on what it means to “macho.”
