Elton John surprises commuters with impromptu busking performance (VIDEO)
Sir Elton John brightened up the day of some commuters in London, by taking to a piano for an impromptu performance.
The Rocket Man hitmaker took to the keys in St Pancras International in the heart of London to make the performance.
Playing a piano medley on the instrument, which was placed especially for his arrival, Sir Elton revealed that he had gifted it to the station.
At the end of his performance, he wrote on top: “Enjoy this piano. It’s a gift. Love, Elton John.”
Writing on Instagram later, Sir Elton said: “Surprise!! I popped into St Pancras International to christen the Yamaha piano which I donated to the station. Now everyone can have a play.”
Sir Elton earlier this week said he is planning to “phase out” his career to spend more time with his family.
He also became the latest musician to speak out after Donald Trump used his music without permission.
