A trans singer is poised to win The Voice after wowing the show’s judges.

Jordan Gray will be featured on the latest episode of the hit BBC talent show (February 13).

Gray chooses to sing Bob Dylan’s 1966 hit Just Like A Woman in a bid to impress the judges.

However, the singer’s initial attempt puzzles Boy George, Will.i.am, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson.

Despite their trepidation, at least one of the four will ask Gray to join their team – allowing her to blossom late on in the series.

“Jordan is definitely one to watch. While there are others with a better voice, she is a great performer,” a source from the show told the Daily Mirror.

“While the coaches don’t necessarily get her straight away, keep watching as she becomes a big deal later in the series.”

Boy George recently caused a furore on the set of the show – when he one-upped Faith’s name-dropping in a surprising style.

The pair were filming the audition stage for the upcoming series this week, before a live audience – when their on-stage banter began.

Speaking about their celebrity contacts with Will.i.am and Wilson, she said: “I have duetted with some of the greatest soul singers in history including Luther Vandross and Smokey Robinson.”

Paloma Faith hit back: “Well OK, if we’re throwing big soul names out there I’ve performed with Prince!”

George then quipped: “Forget that, darling, I’ve slept with Prince!”

Speaking about his role on the show, Boy George said: “I’m thrilled and excited to be a coach on The Voice UK. I’m a huge fan of the show and have watched and engaged with it from series one.

“What a wonderful opportunity to share my experiences and help someone move forward with their musical career.”
