Watch: Donald Trump gets a ‘sassy gay’ voice
Donald Trump is, like, totally going to build a wall, girlfriend.
The billionaire reality TV star-turned-politician has attracted a dedicated cult of personality amid his run for US President.
The Republican recently revealed he’s getting speechwriting assistance from a “great” pastor who compared gay people to paedophiles – but he’s also being given some unsolicited ‘help’ from British comic and voice actor Peter Serafinowicz.
The Shaun of the Dead star, who previously had his own BBC sketch show, has dubbed over some of the Presidential hopeful’s speeches in a number of different voices – and this week he released a sassy gay Trump.
The voice actor took Trump’s victory speech in the South Carolina primary, and dubbed over it word-for-word in a stereotypically ‘gay’ voice.
Keeping all of Trump’s words the same, the dub exposes how ridiculous some of Trump’s comments are, and how desensitized people have become to hearing them in Trump’s voice.
One commenter wrote: “The only redeeming feature of when Trump announces the beginning of America’s Third World War on the rest of the world will be the Serafinowicz video lampooning it.”
Another said: “I love how effectively this series focuses the attention on the content of his speeches. Let it shine like the poison it is.”
It is the latest in a string of Trump dubs from Serafinowicz, who has previously given Trump a tough-guy East London accent.
If that’s not enough for you, Serafinowicz has also released two ‘Sophisticated Trump’ clips – dubbing over the billionaire in RP.
The skits follow on from a viral YouTube hit last year – in which Trump’s voice was dubbed over Darth Vader’s scenes from Star Wars.
