Kylie Minogue really doesn’t want Kylie Jenner to trademark ‘Kylie’
Kylie Minogue certainly didn’t pull any punches when she criticised Kylie Jenner’s trademark application.
Jenner has filed a trademark application for ownership of the name ‘Kylie’, but Minogue has mounted a legal battle to stop her.
According to reports, Jenner wants to be able to use the name Kylie for advertising purposes.
But in a filing by Minogue’s legal representatives, she refers to Jenner as a “secondary reality television personality”.
Jenner appears alongside her sister Kim Kardashian in ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.
In the filing, Minogue also attacks Jenner over criticisms from disability rights groups and African American communities.
It reads that Jenner is “active on social media”, and criticises her for “her photographic exhibitionism”.
Minogue has already trademarked the names ‘Kylie Minogue darling’, and ‘Lucky – the Kylie Minogue Musical.
This is in addition to the classic ‘Kylie Minogue’.
Minogue last week announced that she got engaged to her fiancé Joshua Sasse.
Kylie has been dating the 28-year-old actor for six months, and it is rumoured that he asked her to marry him at Christmas.
