Is Mac on ‘It’s Always Sunny’ finally going to come out?!
Fans of ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ may be shocked to hear that character Mac might finally be true to his feelings.
It has been hinted for the entire run of It’s Always Sunny, and in the latest season finale, Mac might actually come out as gay.
The character, played by Rob McElhenney, a co-creator of the show, appears to come out in the first part of ‘The Gang Goes to Hell’, a two-part finale.
While on a Christian cruise, Mac realises a gay couple are on board, and tries to ‘convert’ them to heterosexuality.
However, as he is actually gay himself, the couple don’t find it difficult to turn the tables on Mac.
Hints throughout the show have included Mac checking out shirtless men’s muscles, through his obsession with friend Dennis, and through his devout Christian fanaticism.
Part two of “The Gang Goes to Hell” airs tonight on FX.
