Rival hockey team guys share unexpected kiss-cam snog (VIDEO)
Hockey fans at this match saw something unexpected on the kiss-cam on Sunday.
Not even because two men kissed, but because they were fans of rival teams.
The match between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Redwings took place on Sunday.
On what looks like any old kiss-cam video, a Blackhawks fan leans in to kiss a girl next to him.
But unexpectedly, a Redwings fan sitting behind the guy leans in and kisses him.
While it is unclear whether the two men knew each other before the kiss, or whether it was romantic or not, it was still pretty unexpected.
Some have commented asking the meaning behind the kiss, some suggesting it was “between bros”, or that it was a game of “gay chicken”.
One user of Reddit wrote, “When I saw this I was so confused. My first thought was that they were a gay couple but then I was like why wouldnt they have seats together? And then I saw the sweaters I was like wtf… All in a split second. I really wanna know [sic] we need them to do an AMA.”
A gay couple were cheered at a hockey match in LA earlier this year – which was celebrated by gay NHL fans.
Last year the Los Angeles Dogers posted a kiss-cam featuring a same-sex couple, and the first one is thought to have been posted by the San Francisco Giants back in 2011.
