Anonymous declares ‘total war’ on Donald Trump
The Anonymous hackers collective has declared “total war” on Apprentice personality and Republican Presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
The group, known for targeting various personalities at odds with their ideology, said it would “dismantle” the Republican frontrunner.
In a new video, the group said it would re-engage with ‘OpTrump’, with a fresh threat to take down one of Trump’s websites on 1 April.
Anonymous said: “We have been watching you for a long time and what we’ve seen is deeply disturbing. You don’t stand for anything but your personal greed and power.
“This is a call to arms. Shut down his websites, research and expose what he doesn’t want the public to know. We need you to dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand.”
The collective last year threatened to taget Trump, after he suggested that all Muslims should be deported from, and banned from entering the US.
Last year Anonymous took down the website of Trump Tower.
“This is a declaration of total war. OperationTrump engaged,” said the group.
Anonymous last year threatened to “destroy” any attempt to picket the funerals of Charleston shooting victims by the Westboro Baptist Church.
The WBC is well known for picketing the funerals of soldiers, and has threatened to do the same at the funerals of past shootings.
Anonymous continued a long running battle with the WBC in 2012, when the church threatenedto picket the funerals of Sandy Hook shooting victims.
