Adele lays into terrorist ‘f**kers’, pays beautiful tribute to Belgium
In the wake of attacks in Brussels yesterday which left over thirty people dead, Adele had some strong words to say to those responsible.
Two blasts in the Zaventem airport at around 7am on Tuesday left 11 people dead, and a third explosion at Maelbeek metro station left another 20 dead.
The so-called āIslamic Stateā has taken responsibility for the attacks.
The āHelloā singer took to the stage in London last night, and said she felt ābad and sadā, when she woke up to the news of the attacks.
Describing those responsible for the attacks as ālonersā and āf**kersā, Adele paid a moving tribute.
She said: āWeāre all here for the same reason. Iām hoping youāve come to be entertained by me. Iām here to entertain you. So weāre all united. So that makes us much better than them f**kers. Youāre on your own you f**king loners.ā
Going on, Adele performed a version of the song āMake You Feel My Loveā, and asked the audience to be loud enough to let Belgium know that they were stood with the country.
She also got people to hold up lights, on their phones in the audience to create a starscape in the O2 Arena.
āI donāt think Iāve ever actually been so moved in my life during one of my shows. It was so beautiful. Thanks you for doing thatā¦I think they heard us,ā she went on.
