Adele lays into terrorist ‘f**kers’, pays beautiful tribute to Belgium
In the wake of attacks in Brussels yesterday which left over thirty people dead, Adele had some strong words to say to those responsible.
Two blasts in the Zaventem airport at around 7am on Tuesday left 11 people dead, and a third explosion at Maelbeek metro station left another 20 dead.
The so-called ‘Islamic State’ has taken responsibility for the attacks.
The ‘Hello’ singer took to the stage in London last night, and said she felt “bad and sad”, when she woke up to the news of the attacks.
Describing those responsible for the attacks as “loners” and “f**kers”, Adele paid a moving tribute.
She said: “We’re all here for the same reason. I’m hoping you’ve come to be entertained by me. I’m here to entertain you. So we’re all united. So that makes us much better than them f**kers. You’re on your own you f**king loners.”
Going on, Adele performed a version of the song ‘Make You Feel My Love’, and asked the audience to be loud enough to let Belgium know that they were stood with the country.
She also got people to hold up lights, on their phones in the audience to create a starscape in the O2 Arena.
“I don’t think I’ve ever actually been so moved in my life during one of my shows. It was so beautiful. Thanks you for doing that…I think they heard us,” she went on.
