Gwen Stefani: I’d be ‘blessed’ to have a gay son
Gwen Stefani has said she would be “blessed” to have a gay son.
The singer said she has no doubt that she’d be accepting of her son if he was not straight.
Speaking to ETonline, the mother of three said she wouldn’t mind if her sons, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7 or Apollo, 2, turned out to be queer.
She said: “I would be blessed with a gay son.
“I just want my boys to be happy and healthy, and I just ask God to guide me every day to be a good mother because it is not an easy job.”

As well as being accepting, she said she wants to be prepared for if one or more of her sons turn out to be into guys.
The 46-year-old added: “I always ask my gay friends, ‘OK, so what was it like when you were a little boy?.'”
She also emphasised the importance of allowing the boys to be themselves, saying she likes to give them manicures.
“As long as my boys are protected and happy and I’m spending quality time with them, whether it’s doing sports or doing nails, it really doesn’t matter,” Stefani continued.
