Trailer shows how Caitlyn Jenner’s views on Ted Cruz changed after reading PinkNews
A new trailer for Caityln Jenner’s TV series is here, and stars PinkNews.
The trailer for the continuing Season 2 of the television series features some awkward questions for the Republican Olympian.
Jenner’s transgender friends confront her for her support for the Republican party, including Ted Cruz.
In the trailer, Candis Cayne questions Jenner on her support for Cruz, quoting a PinkNews article.
The article, from December 2015, quotes Cruz saying he thinks trans kids will molest his daughters.
He says: “You know, I’m the father of two little girls. Caroline and Catherine are seven and five. I don’t want my daughters taking showers with little boys – I don’t want them when they’re in junior high or high school.
“And it’s absurd, no parents do. And these are zealots.”
Jenner says she does not support a party which is against trans issues.
She says: “They’re not my people if they are against this issue”.
She is also seen kissing ex-wife Kris Jenner, golfing and skiing in the teaser trailer.
Golfing with Cayne, who says “that’s a big stick”, Jenner jokes: “Nobody’s told me that in a long time”.
Jenner last month said, despite saying kind words about the Texas Senator, she did not officially endorse him.
The Olympian turned reality star also said she was “surprised” that Cruz had not contacted her to become his trans ambassador.
The former Olympian, who is a staunch Republican, made the claim on her reality show I Am Cait, which has just begun its second season.
The show may come to an abrupt end, however, due to a “sharp drop” in ratings, it is now possibly facing the axe.
Cruz, by no means the worst candidate on LGBT rights, is apparently “proud” to be backed by Linda Harvey of Mission: America, who claims homosexuality is a result of child molestation and demonic possession.
