The controversial radio host says she would be open to having sex with a woman.

Katie Hopkins appears to have ambiguously revealed that she is bisexual – but says she has never had the chance to experiment.

Hopkins opened up about her sexuality during an interview with Angela Scanlon for her Close Encounters series on the BBC.

When Scanlon said she believes Hopkins would “swing both ways” the columnist replied: “I would definitely swing both ways given the freedom to do that. I’ve never been offered.”

The former Apprentice contestant went on to say she views herself as “more of a bloke” and prefers the company of men as opposed to women.

“I think I prefer working round blokes because they are much more simple to understand than women,” she said. “Women exhaust me.”

Hopkins later admitted to having “no regrets” in life but says if it was not for her epilepsy – which forced her to leave the army – she would have gone to become “the first female general.”

It was recently announced that she is to present her own show on national talk radio station LBC.

Hopkins appeared as a guest presenter on the station a year ago, where she was attacked by listeners over a Sun column in which she compared migrants to “cockroaches”.

She also had her self styled ‘gay icon’ status revoked after claiming that ‘100%’ of British Muslims want homosexuality banned.

However, she does have one fan – the equally controversial Presidential wannabe Donald Trump.

Last year, Trump said of Hopkins: “The politicians of the UK should watch Katie Hopkins … many people in the UK agree with me.”

Earlier this week, former X Factor host Sharon Osbourne also expressed her regret at not exploring her sexuality further.

The 63-year-old TV star came out whilst during an appearance on US chat show The Talk.

“I always think everybody is gay – so am I,” she said.

“I am not a little bit gay, I am extremely interested in the fact of what I missed out on. But it is too late now.”
