Ted Cruz takes full advantage of opportunity to attack trans people and ‘PC’ Trump
Republican Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has taken the opportunity of being mathematically unable to win the Republican nomination to lash out at everyone, mainly trans people and ‘PC’ Donald Trump.
Former baseball star Curt Schilling was sacked by ESPN for sharing a post misgendering trans people.
The former All-Star pitcher had been employed at ESPN for over six years, and had appeared on Monday Night Baseball.
Responding to the introduction of North Carolina’s anti-LGBT HB2, Schilling posted on Facebook a photo of an overweight man in a wig.
Accompanying the photo, suggesting that trans women are simply men in women’s clothing, it read: “LET HIM IN”.
The post went on: “LET HIM IN! to the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow-minded, judgemental, unloving racist bigot who needs to die.”
Commenting on his own post Schilling wrote: “A man is a man no matter what they call themselves. I don’t care what they are, who they sleep with, men’s room was designed for the penis, women’s not so much. Now you need laws telling us differently? Pathetic.”
But the Texas Governor, Ted Cruz, took to the radio to defend Schilling, saying he was making a “rather obvious” and “rational” point.
“ESPN fired Curt Schilling for making the rather obvious point that we shouldn’t allow grown male adult strangers alone in a bathroom with little girls,” Cruz told Glenn Beck.
“That’s a point anyone who is rational should understand,” he added.
But Cruz has also taken the opportunity to attack trans people and Donald Trump.
On Friday he released an ad which reads: “Should a grown man pretending to be a woman be allowed to use the women’s restroom?”
“The same restroom used by your daughter? Your wife? Donald Trump thinks so. It’s not appropriate. It’s not safe. It’s PC nonsense that’s destroying America. Donald Trump won’t take on the PC police. He’s one of them.”

Yesterday it was revealed that it is now impossible for Cruz to win his party’s Presidential nomination outright, after his latest defeat to Donald Trump.
The ultra-conservative hopeful has been trailing Donald Trump in the Republican race for some time, amassing just 559 delegates to Mr Trump’s 845.
A militant opponent of gay rights, Senator Cruz has strongly backed new anti-LGBT ‘religious freedom’ laws to allow religious people to discriminate against married gay couples – and also supports a Constitutional amendment to void same-sex marriage entirely.
Cruz also claimed transgender people are a threat to his daughters, branded actress Ellen Page a “liberal fascist” when she confronted his stance, and also faces tough questions about his links with ‘death to gays’ pastor Kevin Swanson.
