John Barrowman accidentally showed his husband’s penis to the entire internet
Torchwood star John Barrowman showed off rather more than he expected during a live-stream with fans yesterday.
The sci-fi actor, who is best known for his roles in Doctor Who and Arrow, has been married to his long-term partner Scott Gill since 2013.
Barrowman was live-streaming a chat with fans from a Palm Springs hot tub yesterday when Gill just happened to get in too… completely naked.
The actor exclaimed: “Oh, Scott! Oh my God! You just… I’m live video! I can’t believe… everyone just saw you naked!”
It turns out nudity sells – the Facebook clip remains online and has received over 160,000 views and 5,000 shares.
In the words of a Captain Jack Harkness, your viewing figures just went up.
In a follow-up stream, Barrowman said: “I wondered what the fuss was all about, but yep, you saw it. Now you know why we big boys stick together. Scott accidentally bared it all on Facebook and online, so there you go world, now you’ve seen it.”
He added: “In no way are we embarrassed about what happened in the jacuzzi. The human form and the body, no matter what size you are, we should celebrate how we look and what we have.
“We’re all different shapes and sizes, and I’ve always said Scott and I nude sunbathe – we don’t care, and it was just by accident you saw the whole thing! I’m just loving everybody’s comments, because they’re such great comments.
“Cheers to Scott! It’s interesting to see how many people have viewed it.”
Of course, Mr Barrowman is no stranger to nudity, appearing in the buff for many of his roles. He apologised in 2008 after exposing himself in a Radio 1 studio.
