Ellen DeGeneres is seriously taking over the whole internet with her new venture
Ellen DeGeneres is launching her own digital network featuring a number of YouTube personalities.
The daytime TV mogul is launching the Ellen Digital Network, signing a deal with YouTuber Tyler Oakley.
The pair will collaborate on a number of projects, aiming to develop them for TV.
“I’m so excited for the Ellen Digital Network,” DeGeneres said in a statement.
“I’ll get to showcase amazing talents like Tyler Oakley. Plus, I’ll finally prove to the world that my pets can speak in human voices.”
The network is launched in partnership with the Warner Bros Television Group.
Six shows were announced this week, including Ellen’s Pet Dish, which takes a closer look at Ellen’s home and her pets’ animated lives.
Other Ellen Digital Network shows include Damn Daniel Boyz, featuring the pair behind the viral ‘Damn Daniel’ clips, which will debut on Snapchat.
She’s Brielle-iant, which features 4-year-old Brielle Milla, who will show off her vast intelligence.
tWitch & Allison’s Dance Challenge will see young dancers go toe-to-toe and be judged by choreographers Stephen “tWitch” Boss and wife Allison Holker of Dancing With the Stars.
In ‘#MadeByYou’, Ellen’s team will look at a range of curated content from users, and in ‘Epic or Fail’, Ellen’s staffer Andy Zenor will see viewers play along in real time.
