Katie Hopkins will streak through London ‘with sausage up bum’ if Sadiq Khan becomes Mayor
Shoppers and tourists may wish to avoid central London this weekend if the Labour hopeful succeeds later today.
Controversial columnist Katie Hopkins has vowed to run naked through central London with a sausage inserted into her backside if Sadiq Khan becomes Mayor of the city.
If the Tooting MP fends off leading opponent Zac Goldsmith, Londoners will be graced with the sight of a naked Hopkins streaking down Regent Street – with added sausage.
“If Sadiq Khan wins London, I will run naked down Regent Street with a sausage up my bum in protest #LondonMayor2016,” she tweeted.
“And if that horrifying prospect doesn’t get the Zac vote out, nothing will,” she later added in her Islamophobia filled Daily Mail column, in which she criticises the “Muslim Mafia” and refers to Mr Khan as “Sadiqistan”.
However, it seems her extreme tactics failed to work, as the current live count is in line with the polls, which indicated Khan – who has promised zero tolerance and a fairer London – would indeed become mayor.
After eight years under the Tory mayoralty of Boris Johnson, current voting tallies suggest that the Labour candidate could take City Hall in the mayoral election.
He has the lead over his Conservative rival Zac Goldsmith, who has struggled to build the same popularity as his predecessor, despite promises “to be pansexual for all of London.”
Last month, Hopkins appeared to have ambiguously revealed that she is bisexual – but said she has never had the chance to experiment.
It was recently announced that she is to present her own show on national talk radio station LBC.
Hopkins appeared as a guest presenter on the station a year ago, where she was attacked by listeners over a Sun column in which she compared migrants to “cockroaches”.
She also had her self styled ‘gay icon’ status revoked after claiming that ‘100%’ of British Muslims want homosexuality banned.
