Adele thinks Beyonce is the actual messiah (VIDEO)
Adele has made her feelings about Beyonce very clear – and she’s a pretty big fan.
Performing in Denmark last night the ‘Hello’ singer turned to Beyonce’s Lemonade album.
“How is it even possible that she only ever gets better? How is that possible?” Adele asked.
“She is Jesus f***ing Christ, Jesus f***ing Christ. Beyoncé is the sickest artist around in the whole entire world, it’s unbelievable. I’ve been listening to her for 17 years, and she’s still making music that blows my mind.”
Performing in Raleigh, NC last week, Bey clarified her position on HB2, which bans transgender people from using gender-appropriate bathrooms.
The law, which has seen the state boycotted by hundreds of businesses, and a number of celebrities abandon performances there, was signed in to law last month by Governor Pat McCory.
A statement on Beyonce’s website reads: “As The Formation World Tour makes its stop in the Tar Heel state in the midst of such a controversial time, we think it is important for us to bring attention to those who are committed to being good and carrying on the message of equality in this core of controversy.”
As well as the statement, Beyonce also posted a photo of herself wearing the ‘Y’all means all’ t-shirt from Equality NC.
The Lemonade singer was the subject of a vote by the Miami Fraternal Order of Police which voted to boycott her concert. As well as calling her “anti-police”, the union said Beyonce’s Superbowl performance was used to “divide Americans”.
Rapper Azealia Banks earlier this week attacked Beyonce over her new album ‘Lemonade’ calling her “anti-feminist”, a “poacher” and a “thief”.
The 212 star took to Twitter and Periscope to criticise Beyonce over her new release, which she unveiled on HBO late last week.
Meanwhile, a police officer from Detroit is to be investigated for comparing Beyoncé’s Superbowl halftime dancers to the Ku Klux Klan.
