VIDEO: Woman marches through Target saying ‘the devil will rape your children’ because of its bathroom policy
A mother of 12 has marched through a Target store with her family telling customers “the devil will rape their children” because of the chain’s trans inclusive bathroom policy.
Target announced last month that its bathrooms would be trans inclusive with the company’s CEO adding that customers can use whatever bathroom they like.
Many conservative Christian groups, including the American Family Association who organised a petition, have been unhappy with the move. Target made the decision following North Carolina’s introduction of HB2 – a law that forced people to use bathrooms that conformed with their assigned gender rather than the one they identify with.
A number of high profile performers as well as progressive community groups, human rights organisations, the parents of transgender children and the Obama government have all attacked the legislation. The Federal Government has also announced it will sue North Carolina to stop HB2’s enforcement.
The video of the woman’s protest was posted to YouTube on Saturday, with the caption: “With Bible in hand and family in tow this mother warns target of their evil evil sins.”
The women who is holding a Bible in her hand, starts her attack from what appears to be the middle of the store.
She says: “Attention Target customers! Do not be deceived, Target would have you believe what their Mother’s Day displays that they love mothers and children! This is a deception! This is not love and they’ve proven it by opening their bathrooms to perverted men!
“I’m a mother of 12 and I’m very disgusted by this wicked practice.
“Target does not protect mothers and children. Mothers, get your children out of this store. Mothers, have enough decency to get out of this store, it’s a dangerous place. This is not loving. What Target has done is very hateful.”
She then continues with her rant by adding that “the Devil will rape children, America” and calls for the nation to “stand up and have a voice instead of bowing to the homosexual perverted agenda”.
Target’s CEO has vowed not to reverse the company’s decision.
