Torchwood stars reunite for brand new adventure
John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Gareth David Lloyd will reprise their roles.
The stars of his sci-fi show Torchwood are set to reunite for the first time in almost seven years.
John Barrowman, Gareth David-Lloyd and Eve Myles revealed yesterday that they are getting back together for a brand new story.
Torchwood: Outbreak is a full-cast audio mini-series from Big Finish and will be released as a box-set in November 2016.
Outbreak – which sees Cardiff come under attack from a deadly virus – is the company’s first full-cast release, with Kai Owen (Rhys Williams) and Tom Price (PC Andy) also set to join Barrowman, David-Lloyd and Myles.
This is pretty much what everyone has wanted from day one – Torchwood’s holy trinity reunited in a full-cast box-set,” said producer James Goss.
“We’re so very grateful to John, Gareth and Eve for somehow finding the time in their impossible schedules to save the Earth once again.”
Barrowman hit headlines for slightly different reason last week – after taking a tumble on the set of Loose Women.
The Arrow actor was visiting the popular ITV show today when he attempted to show off the red kitten heels he had donned for the occasion.
Barrowman swivelled in his chair to prop his feet up on the desk… but he ended up taking a tumble, to the shock of the panellists.
Sadly, it’s not the only slip the actor made this month.
The Torchwood showed off rather more than he expected during a live-stream with fans.
Barrowman was live-streaming a chat with fans from a Palm Springs hot tub yesterday when his husband Scott Gill happened to get in too… completely naked.
The actor exclaimed: “Oh, Scott! Oh my God! You just… I’m live video! I can’t believe… everyone just saw you naked!”
In the words of a Captain Jack Harkness, your viewing figures just went up.
