Rebel Wilson as Miss Adelaide in ‘Guys and Dolls’ is everything
Rebel Wilson has revealed herself looking ultra glam as Miss Adelaide from Guys and Dolls.
The pitch perfect star shared the dolled up snap on Instagram alongside images of her script and dance rehearsals.
The actor sports a blue velvet ball gown and is dripping with glamour in a white fur coat and jewels.
The 1920’s blonde locks and make-up pulls the look together for the prohibition-era play.
Rebel told the BBC that she was excited to play such an iconic character.
“I saw my first musical at age 14, a show called 42nd Street, after one of my family’s dogs had unsuccessfully auditioned to be in it” she joked.
“It blew me away and I’ve loved musical theatre ever since. Hopefully I will crush it, but you’ll have to come and see me to find out.”
The West End production will run for a limited time of just eight weeks starting on the 28th of June at the Phoenix Theatre.
Simon Lipkin will be joining the Australian actor as Nathan Detroit in the short stay performance.
Guys and Dolls tells the story of New York’s gamblers, hustlers and nightclub singers during the prohibition era.
Wilson just starred in a live performance of the Little Mermaid as evil sea witch Ursula.
The look is a far throw from Fat Amy – the role that shot Rebel to fame, and we love it.
