Hollywood stars unite in emotional tribute to Orlando victims (VIDEO)
Lady Gaga, Colton Haynes, Caitlyn Jenner, Laverne Cox and Matt Bomer are among the stars featured in the video.
Ryan Murphy – the man behind Glee and American Horror story – has united actors of both shows, along with a host of other A List stars, in a touching tribute to honour the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.
49 people died and more than 50 were injured in the horrific massacre earlier this month, when a gunman opened fire inside Pulse nightclub.
The 18-minute tribute spotlights sees a host of famous faces – including Lady Gaga, Jane Fonda and Colton Haynes – telling the stories of each of the victims, many of whom were LGBT.
Glee’s Lea Michele, Kevin Hale and Darren Criss, American Crime Story’s Cuba Gooding Jr, Matt Bomer and Sarah Paulson, and Scream Queens’ Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis also feature, as do stars Caitlyn Jenner, Chris Pine, Sofia Vergara and Laverne Cox.
The Human Rights Campaign’s new Stop the Hate campaign is also promoted in the video, which aims to “show the world that love conquers hate”.
Earlier this month, Gaga gave a moving speech during a vigil for the victims of the gun massacre.
“As we have now witnessed the largest mass shooting in American history, I can’t help but feel that this level of hatred, like all prejudicial crimes, this is an attack on humanity itself,” she said.
“Tonight, I gather humbly with you, as a human being, in peace, in sincerity, in commitment, in solidarity, to take a real moment and mourn the tragic loss of these innocent, beautiful people.
“I hope you know that myself and so many are your allies.”
