Man murders 15-year-old before going back to his birthday party
A 30-year-old man has admitted to killing a 15-year-old boy because he thought “he was gay”.
The victim, Erick Kanaan da Silva, had attended the birthday party for the accused, but became ill having not eaten and drunk alcohol on an empty stomach – prosecutor Jair Pereira Duante, said.
It is believed this is the point when the accused knocked the 15-year-old to the ground and kicked him until he died of head trauma and internal bleeding.
In his confession, the accused admitted the attack was prompted by “gay anger” and that he had removed his clothes because he feared his fingerprints would be found.

The others will also return for their part in helping to conceal the body.
